Teddy Bear Baby Shower
We are welcoming our first grand-son and we can bear-ly wait!
🧸💙
Naturally we wanted to make this baby shower as special as can be. Our day started off at the crack of dawn to make sure we had enough time to get everything done. At 6 AM we began with our most challenging project - creating the balloon backdrop! Long and lush pampas plumes added just the right touch of drama and provided a luxurious, polished effect.
This was our first time doing a balloon backdrop, so we were nervous about the final presentation. We spent countless hours researching how to perfect it! We wanted our vision to come to life and we let our creativity lead the way.
All of our research and hard work certainly paid off. We couldn't have been more pleased with our final result! The backdrop created the perfect stage for friends and family to gather for photo ops while also setting the tone for our cohesive teddy bear theme to carry throughout.
Knowing how unpredictable Miami weather can be, weather was one of our main concerns. We were worried about potential for a rainy afternoon. We continued on with our plan to host the shower outside in the backyard with a back up plan to move everyone inside should the weather backfire. To our surprise, the weather turned out to be perfect, a little too hot, but it was preferred over rain. Handheld fans and cooling stations were provided for our guests and added a measure of comfort to combat the heat.
This day was very special to us. Our mom-to-be recently moved to Boston but was able to fly down to enjoy the day with her family and friends. Not only that, father-to-be Joe along with his mom and sisters also joined us to celebrate this most special day.
It was a special day because two families came together for the first time to celebrate Baby Enzo.
We could not believe how beautiful the shower turned out and knew that all the hard work put in was worth it! It was such a special day, and we would not change a single thing.
A very special thanks to Sylvia Q. for sharing this labor of love and all of the details with us at Pop It When She Pops.
